Cone/Pyramid

You can use the Cone/Pyramid tool to create a pyramid-like solid on a planar surface. If you use a regular polygon with the same number of edges for the base, a conical solid is obtained.

To create a pyramid on a planar surface

• Draw the base of the pyramid first.

1. Click Cone/Pyramid (How).
   

   Activate Cone/Pyramid in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools 3D Modeling

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   3D Modeling

2. Select the 3D entities you want to use for the base of the pyramid. The base of the pyramid must lie on one plane, but does not necessarily have to be closed.

   The vertex of the pyramid is attached to the crosshairs.

3. Set the vertex of the pyramid.
