Sphere

Module(s): 3D Modeling

You can use the Sphere tool to draw spheres.

To create a sphere

1. Click Sphere (How).
   

   Activate Sphere in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools 3D Modeling

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   3D Modeling

   • Configuration: Design Basic 3D Elements flyout
2. In the Input options, click Parameters and set parameters for the sphere type.

   

   (A) Globe comsisting of 162 surfaces
   (B) Globe decomposed into triangles (180 surfaces)

3. Set the center of the sphere.
4. Enter the radius of the sphere or set a point through which the surface of the sphere is to pass.
