Label

Module(s): Layout

You can use the Label tool to label a layout. The label is created as a label style. This means that it will update automatically when you open the Layout module or prior to printing.

Note: The program comes with a number of title blocks. You can modify these or create new ones using Label Style. Please read the Notes on label styles in the Layout module.

To label a layout

  1. Click Label (How).
  2. Click a layout border.
  3. On the context toolbar, click the Label Style box to select a different label.
  4. Select the folder. The Default folder contains the title blocks provided with the program. The Office folder contains custom title blocks that you saved in subfolder 7 or 8.
  5. Select a label style.
  6. Click OK to confirm.
  7. Place the label style in the layout. You can use the tools in the input options to do this.

Note: Using the Set Up Page tool, you can select a layout border and a label as fixed properties of the page. The layout border matches the size of the page. For the label, you can specify the distance from the layout border. When you change the page, the size of the layout border and the position of the label adapt automatically.
