Selecting a printer driver

Using Windows drivers and Allplan vector drivers

You can use Windows drivers or Allplan vector drivers to print layouts. You need to use Windows drivers if you want to print straight from Print Preview or use the Print tool.

To select the driver for printing layouts

1. Click Print Layouts (How).
   

   Activate Print Layouts in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Layout

   • Toolbar: Basic Tools Layout flyout
   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Assembling layouts

2. Go to the Settings area on the Printer tab and select Windows driver or Allplan vector driver

   Note: If the Allplan vector driver option is not available, exit Allplan and configure an output channel in the Services application.

   

   • On the Windows start menu, point to (All) Programs - Nemetschek - Allplan 2015 and click Services 2015.
