Errors and error messages while transferring DXF/DWG files

An empty workspace after importing DXF/DWG/DGN file can be caused by one of the following:

• A 3D view is selected. On the View menu, click Views and then Plan.
• The elements are too far from the coordinate origin. This is evident when the display scale is very high. Use an offset when importing, in order to move the elements to the coordinate origin. See Coordinate offset.
