Exporting elements that are outside the printable area

Whether all elements of the layout are transferred or whether layout elements are cut at the inner border of the page or paper format depends on the setting in the Options..., General Settings tab, Transfer mode area:

• The Transfer all data used setting transfers all the elements of the layout even when they are outside the printable area of the page or paper format.
  The setting in the Explode compounds area (advanced settings) has no effect.
• The Transfer currently visible data setting also transfers all the elements if the Layouts / XRef files option is not selected in the Explode compounds area (advanced settings).
• If the Layouts / XRef files option (Explode compounds area) is selected, the Transfer currently visible data setting only transfers the areas of the layout elements placed that are inside the printable area of the page or paper format.
  

Note: Elements placed directly in a layout are always transferred in their entirety.
