Assigning reference files during export

When you export drawing files containing XRefs or layouts containing layout elements, XRef files are created. The program creates a master document (for the layout) and an XRef file for the XRefs inserted in the drawing file or the layout elements placed in the layout. This is only possible when the Layouts / XRef files option is not enabled on the Advanced Settings tab in the Interfaces Options (ODX).

When this option is enabled, all elements are written to a single file.

Note: When you export drawing files with clipped XRefs to .dwg or .dxf-format files, clipping is lost.
