Assigning Line Thickness during Export

Whether or not you can assign line thickness depends on the AutoCAD version to which you are exporting data. In AutoCAD 14 and earlier, it was not possible to use different settings for the line thickness. Consequently, you cannot assign line thickness when you export data to AutoCAD 14 and earlier versions.
