Object properties

Objects dialog box

The properties of the relevant object are displayed and can be modified. The preview panes update immediately to reflect the entries you make.

Name

Enter a meaningful name for the object.

Add object

A new object is created with the default properties.

Copy object

A new object is created based on the selected object.

Delete object

The current object is deleted.

Retrieve object

You can load facade objects (*.fdo files) you have saved.

Save object

You can save the selected object (*.fdo file).

Object creation

Clicking Inactive prevents the object from being created.

Default

Selecting this option places the object at all the locations of the facade.

Direction

Specify the direction of the object.

Door

You can configure Allplan to represent face objects as doors. When this option is active, Allplan's default abstraction set for doors in the reference scales is used; otherwise, the setting for windows applies.

Join

Specify whether objects are to be combined in the direction displayed.
When you click the first icon, opposite points and lines are joined (default setting = on).

Edges

Specify whether a linear/face object removes other point/linear objects at its ends/edges.

Position in facade

Define where the object can be placed within the facade.
