Saving text formats as favorites

If you find that you often require the same combination of text formats, you can save these settings as a named favorite file (*.txfanfx).

Note: The layer currently set is also saved. When you retrieve favorite files later, this layer is automatically set as the current layer.

To define text parameters as a favorite file

1. Open the Enter Text dialog box by clicking Horizontal Text (How), for example.
   

   Activate Horizontal Text in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Text

   • Keyboard: CTRL+T

   • Toolbar: Basic Tools Text flyout
   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Text

2. Click Text format favorites.
3. Check the parameters and adjust them, if necessary.
4. Click and save the text format as a favorite file (*.txfanfx).

To retrieve text parameters you saved as a favorite

1. Open the Enter Text dialog box.
2. Click Text format favorites.
3. Click and select the favorite file you want to retrieve.
