Edit text

Module(s) Text + Key Plan

You can use the Edit Text tool to edit the contents of text lines and paragraph text. To modify just single text lines or paragraphs, you can also activate this command via the shortcut menu.

The shortcut menu appears when an element or the empty workspace is clicked with the right mouse button. Depending on the element clicked, relevant edit tools are made available.

To edit text

1. Click Edit Text (How).
   

   Activate Edit Text in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Text

   • Toolbar: Basic Tools Text flyout
   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Text

   Key Plan

2. Click the text you want to edit.

   The Text dialog box opens.

3. Enter text in the Text dialog box and format it.
4. Click OK or press CTRL+ENTER.

   The text is placed in the workspace.
