Deleting layout structure

To delete a layout structure

1. Click the project node (the structural level at the top in the layout structure) with the right mouse button and select Delete entire layout structure on the shortcut menu.
2. If you really want to delete the layout structure, click Yes at the confirmation prompt.

   Deleting the Allplan_BIM_LayoutStructure.xml file in the BIM folder of the project deletes the entire layout structure. However, the project folder still includes the All layouts folder, which contains all 9,999 layouts. Although the structure is lost, the contents of the layouts are retained.

Note: When you close the Open on a project-specific basis: layouts dialog box, Allplan saves backup copies of the layout structure (*.bak files) in the ...\BIM\Backup folder. Rename these files in order to convert them to .xml-format files. You can then open them using Load favorite on the shortcut menu of the project folder.
