Behavior of layout structure in a workgroup environment

Each user can modify the layout structure. When you have opened the layout structure and another user is modifying it, Allplan displays the flashing icon beside the name of the project. The ToolTip of the project shows the name of the user who has changed the layout structure.

You have the following options:

Import data again you import the data modified externally; the current layout structure is overwritten with the new data.

Save: you can decide which changes you want to retain:

The discarded layout structure is saved as a conflict document (*.conflict).

Note: Layouts that have been opened by another user are marked with a red lock if you have selected the Mark locked drawing files, filesets setting in the Open on a project-specific basis: drawing files from fileset/building structure dialog box.
