Control Characters for Formatting Text

In Allplan, text can be formatted using control characters placed at the beginning and end of the text item being formatted. The control characters are only visible in the Text dialog box and not in the workspace.

Tip: To enter text that represents a control character (in other words, to enter the control character itself), you need to set another ‘%’ character before you type the control character. The control character is thus interpreted as normal text. For example, enter %%UA in the dialog line to place the text %UA in the workspace.

The following table lists all the control characters you can use to format text.
