Copying and renaming the template project

The ____Allplan 2015 IBD BUILDING ALTERATION template project includes all the drawing types, layers, area styles, line styles, print sets, display favorites, drawing files, building structure settings you need for building alteration work.

Copy the template project and rename it instead of creating and configuring a new project. This way, you do not need to make all the settings from scratch.

Note: As you want to keep the template project, you should never work in it directly. Make a copy and use this copy for your work. To find out how to copy projects, see below or refer to the chapter Copying projects.

Note: Use the specific drawing types designed for building alteration work (e.g. Building alteration drawing, color).

Note: Projects created based on the template project must not be set (later) to the Same folder name as project name option.

To copy the template project

1. On the File menu, click New, Project, Open Project.
2. Click Copy to and select the ____Allplan 2015 IBD BUILDING ALTERATION project.
3. Enter a new project name and click OK.

   All the project data and resources are being copied. As soon as this process is complete, Allplan automatically opens the copied project.
