Explode Composite Element

Module(s): Advanced Draft + Site Plan

You can use the Explode Composite Element tool to explode a composite element into discrete elements. Parallel lines, labels and stationing are deleted in the process.

To explode a composite element

1. Click Explode Composite Element (How).
   

   Activate Explode Composite Elements in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Advanced Draft

   • Palette: Tools Modify area in the following module(s):

   Advanced Draft

   Site Plan

   • Configuration: Landscaping/Urban Planning Advanced Draft flyout
2. Click the composite element.
