Modifying terrain point

Module(s): Advanced Draft + Site Plan + Digital Terrain Model

You can use the Modify Terrain Point tool to modify the parameters of terrain points.

To modify the parameters of existing terrain points

1. Click Modify Terrain Point (How).
   

   Activate Modify Terrain Point in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Modify Advanced Draft

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Advanced Draft

   Site Plan

   Digital Terrain Model

   • Configuration: Landscaping/Urban Planning Advanced Draft flyout
2. Select the terrain points you want to modify.
3. Change the settings on the context toolbar or copy them from an existing point by clicking it.
4. Confirm the parameter settings.

To modify all the points placed on an element or composite element

1. In the Input Options, click On Element.
2. In the Input Options, click Selected element in its entirety and click the reference element in order to address all the points on it.
   Or
   In the Input Options, click Part of selected element to specify an area on the reference element.
   • Click the reference element.
   • Click the start point of the area or enter the value of the first station.
   • Click the end point of the area or enter the value of the last station.

     Note: When you click points outside the element, the points on the element that are perpendicular to the points you clicked are used.

3. Change the settings of the selected terrain points.
