Parameters of placing region

Tool(s): Place Bar Shape

When you create a placement along a placing line, you can define the following parameters.
When you have selected the Align option in the input options (you can only select this setting if Reinforce with 3D model is active and views already exist), the Relative to placing line and Angle of rotation options are not available as the basic spatial orientation of the identified mark is used and the reinforcement is placed in alignment. If this is the case, you can only define the concrete cover.

Relative to placing line

You can use the Left, Centered and Right settings to move the placement perpendicular to the placing line.

Angle of rotation

Select an entry in the list box or enter any value. These angles are always entered in degrees [°], regardless of the unit of angle set. Rotation runs counter-clockwise.

If Reinforce with 3D model is not active and you enter 0 for the angle of rotation, Allplan creates the adopted view of the bending shape so that it is perpendicular to the placing line.
If Reinforce with 3D model is active and you enter 0 for the angle of rotation, Allplan uses the position of the bending shape in space without changing it. When you create the first placement in a 2D general arrangement drawing, Allplan always sets the angle of rotation to 0 degrees even when you have selected one of the default settings (Perpendicular, Perpendicular+180, X direction or Y direction). Otherwise, the placing view and reinforcement model cannot be created correctly. You can still rotate the placement by entering any value for the angle of rotation.

Same concrete cover

When you select this check box, the program applies the same concrete cover to all the edges. In this case, you only need to enter the concrete cover once.

If this check box is deactivated, you can enter separate values for the concrete covers at the start and at the end and for the concrete cover of the placement itself. You can see the position of each concrete cover in the graphics. There you can also click a bar and define the value.
