The libraries of patterns and hatching styles that ship with Allplan include a wide range of hatching styles and patterns. However, you can also define your own hatching styles and patterns (click Defaults on the Tools menu) or modify those that come with the program. You can only modify or redefine patterns and hatching styles 1 to 255 and 511 to 999. You can copy or rename these numbers in ProjectPilot or redefine them using Defaults on the Tools menu. You cannot modify patterns and hatching styles numbers 256 to 510, which are copies of the patterns and hatching styles 1 - 255. This way, patterns and hatching styles with identical settings are available for exchanging data with partner offices. This also applies for Allplan versions in other languages. These patterns and hatching styles are also used in the symbols which are shipped with the program.
