Defining visible and hidden layers in a print set

Using print sets

• When you are working with Workgroup Manager in a network environment, you must be logged in as administrator.
  

  Workgroup Manager handles the organization of CAD workstations in local networks. The Workgroup Manager module enables users to access all projects on all computers from every workstation. It ensures data consistency even if several users are simultaneously working on the same project.

To define which layers are visible and which hidden in a print set

1. Click Select, Set Layers (How).
   

   Activate Select, Set Layers in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Format

   • Keyboard: Ctrl+4

   • Toolbar: Format
2. Select the Print Set tab.
3. Under Print set in list box, select the print set whose visibility settings you want to define.
4. Select the layers whose visibility you want to change in the print set you have selected.
   

   Before you can assign a properties to layers, you need to select them in the tree view.

   To select layers

   • To select a single layer, click it.
   • To select all the layers in a level, click the level.
   • To select a series of non-adjacent layers, press and hold down the CTRL key and click the layers.
   • To select several adjacent layers, click the first layer, press and hold down the SHIFT key and click the last layer.
5. Select the visible and hidden layers in one of the following ways:
   • Click the selection with the right mouse button and select an access right on the shortcut menu.
   • Click one of the icons in the Modify status area.
   • Press the space bar.

     Note: You can use Match visibility from print set... on the shortcut menu to match the settings from an existing print set and modify them.

Tip: You can also copy the visible and invisible layers of a print set directly from the layer visibility settings. Select the Select Layer/Visibility tab, click the layers displayed with the right mouse button and select Save current setting as a print set on the shortcut menu.
