Using privilege sets

To select the current privilege set

1. Click Select, Set Layers (How).
   

   Activate Select, Set Layers in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Format

   • Keyboard: Ctrl+4

   • Toolbar: Format
2. Select the Select Layer/Visibility tab.
3. Select the desired privilege set in Privilege set.

Note: The message No authorized user group exists appears when you are working with the Workgroup Manager and you are not authorized to make changes.

Workgroup Manager handles the organization of CAD workstations in local networks. The Workgroup Manager module enables users to access all projects on all computers from every workstation. It ensures data consistency even if several users are simultaneously working on the same project.

Note: If the privilege set selected does not contain the current layer, the DEFAULT layer is used as the current one.

When you work with the Layers palette, do the following:

1. Open the Layers palette.
2. Click Select layer privilege set at the bottom of the palette.
3. Select the required privilege set and click OK to confirm the dialog box.
