Assigning attributes to projects

Using attributes

The attributes used to identify projects vary from office to office. Allplan provides numerous predefined project attributes, which are available throughout your office. These project attributes are ready to be assigned to projects.

Tip: You can also assign project attributes in the Project Attributes dialog box, which you can access using the Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution or Layout and Project Attributes tool.

To assign attributes to projects

1. On the File menu, click New Project, Open Project.
2. In the New Project, Open Project dialog box, click the project to which you want to assign attributes with the right mouse button. On the shortcut menu, click Properties.
3. The Project Settings dialog box opens. Click Assign attributes....

   The Project Attributes dialog box opens.

   Note: All the attributes that are available throughout the office are displayed in the column on the left.

4. Enter the values for the project attributes in the column on the right.

   Tip: You can also change attributes directly in the New Project, Open Project dialog box (provided the attribute column is displayed),
