Copy the drawing file structure from a fileset

Open on a project-specific basis

You can copy the drawing file structure from a fileset. In the case of filesets with a similar structure, this will save you the effort of naming files. The names of the drawing files and the intervals between them are copied.

• You can only copy a structure when no drawing files have been assigned to the fileset.

To copy the drawing file structure from a fileset

1. Click Open on a project-specific basis (How).
   

   Activate Open on a Project-Specific Basis... in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: File

   • Keyboard: Ctrl+Alt+O

   • Toolbar: Standard

   Tip: You can also double click with the left mouse button in the workspace.

2. Using the right mouse button, click the fileset for which you wish to copy a structure. On the shortcut menu, click Get Structure....
3. In the dialog box that appears, click the fileset whose structure you want to use. In the list box, select the number at which the structure is to begin in the new fileset.
4. Click OK to confirm the settings.
