Assign drawing files to filesets by entering drawing file mumbers

Open on a project-specific basis

To assign drawing files to filesets, you can also enter the drawing file numbers instead of selecting the files using the mouse.

To assign drawing files to filesets by entering the drawing file numbers

1. Click Open on a project-specific basis (How).
   

   Activate Open on a Project-Specific Basis... in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: File

   • Keyboard: Ctrl+Alt+O

   • Toolbar: Standard

   Tip: You can also double click with the left mouse button in the workspace.

2. Right-click the fileset to which you want to assign drawing files and click Assign Drawing Files... on the shortcut menu.
3. Enter the drawing file numbers as follows:
   • Enter the numbers separately (separated by spaces, e.g. 10 2 19).
   • Enter several consecutive drawing files (using hyphens, e.g. 10-19).

     You can also combine these two options (e.g. 10 12 14-19 21).

4. Select whether the assignment is to be fixed or temporary.
