(Re)name drawing files

Open on a project-specific basis

To (re)name drawing files

1. Click Open on a project-specific basis (How).
   

   Activate Open on a Project-Specific Basis... in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: File

   • Keyboard: Ctrl+Alt+O

   • Toolbar: Standard

   Tip: You can also double click with the left mouse button in the workspace.

2. Name the drawing file using one of the following options:
   • Select the drawing file you want to (re)name and press the F2 key.
   • Select the drawing file you want to (re)name and click Rename on the shortcut menu.
   • Double-click the number or name of the drawing file you want to name.
3. Enter a name for the drawing file and press ENTER to confirm.

   You can enter up to 70 characters for the name.
