Insert embedded OLE objects (via the Clipboard)

To use the Clipboard to insert an embedded OLE object

1. Start the original application and open a new or existing document.
2. Copy the relevant data to the Clipboard.
3. In Allplan, click Insert Contents... on the Edit menu.
4. Enable Paste, select the original application (which was used to create the data) as the object type and click OK.

   The contents of the Clipboard are attached to the crosshairs.

5. Place the elements in the workspace. There are additional tools available in the Input options to assist you.
