Modifying points of elements using direct object modification

You can modify the position of individual points in lines, polylines, splines, arcs, circles and surface elements (hatching, patterns, fills).

To modify individual points using direct object modification

• Direct object modification is switched on (see "Switching on direct object modification").

1. Select the elements of which you want to modify individual points.

   The Point handle symbol indicates the points that can be modified.

2. Point to the point you want to modify until it is displayed in green (or in the current Selection preview color) and the crosshairs resume their normal shape. Then click.

   Or if you want to modify several handles at the same time:

   Select the handles by clicking them while pressing and holding down the CTRL key.

   The relevant element parts are attached to the crosshairs.

3. Place the point or the element parts where you want in the workspace.
