Redefining line types

Using line types

You can use this function to redefine line types and configure which ones are available on the Format QuickSelect toolbar. You cannot redefine line types 1 and 90-99.

To reassign the proposed line types

1. On the Tools menu, click Defaults.
2. Click Line types + Format QuickSelect.

   Note: The You are modifying the lines in the office path message is displayed to remind you that any changes you make will alter the office standard and all projects that are associated with the office standard and that use the line type you are about to modify.

   Note: When you open the editor from a NDW-format file, only the line types in the relevant NDW file are displayed. When you open the editor from a drawing file or layout, the line types available in the office or project are displayed.

   

   NDW is the abbreviation for Nemetschek DraWing File. You can enter any names for NDW-format files and save these files in any folder (as opposed to drawing files that are always given names consisting of tb00????.ndw (???? = drawing file number) and that are always saved in the project folder).

3. Alter the line types of the individual line type numbers in the Line Definition dialog box.
