To add a separator to a toolbar

1. Display the toolbar in which you want to insert a flyout.
2. On the Tools menu, click Customize....
3. Drag the icon for the separator from the Buttons area to the toolbar.

Tip: You can also insert a separator without having to activate the Customize dialog box. Press and hold down the ALT key and drag the icon in front of which a separator is to be inserted a little bit to the right within the toolbar.
