Available Fixtures
Tool(s): Place SCHÖCK Fixture
The following Schöck Isokorb® fixtures are currently available in the article catalog:
- Schöck Isokorb® type K is a load-bearing thermal insulation element for free cantilever balconies. The element transfers bending moment stress and shear forces. The integrated hanging and perimeter tensile reinforcement, fitted as standard, saves the unnecessary and costly use of extra stirrups or hooped mat.
The Schöck Isokorb® type K range is also available as Schöck Isokorb® type KF for use with pre-cast balcony slabs. In addition, the following special ranges are provided:- Type K-corner as an extension to Schöck Isokorb® type K and type KF for balconies which have to traverse external angles.
- Type K-HV or K-BH for use with cantilever balconies with different finished heights to the floor slab with either upper or lower bias.
- Type K-HV or K-BH for use with cantilever balconies with connections to walls at top or bottom.
- Schöck Isokorb® type V is designed to insulate balcony slabs with angled support, loggias and column supported balconies. It serves as a shear force transfer element and stops thermic outflux which has serious expansion/contraction effects on the balcony slab.
- Schöck Isokorb® type Q serves as a shear force transfer element for loggias or column supported balconies. With type Q+Q, positive and negative (vertical lift) forces can be transferred due to cross-running tensile rods. Types QP, QP+QP and QPZ enable exact point connections.
- Schöck Isokorb® type D is a load bearing thermal insulation element for balconies which encroach into the floor slab area. It transfers positive and negative bending moment stress and shear forces.
- Schöck Isokorb® type S is designed for use with cantilever balconies. It serves as an exact point force transfer element of higher bending moment stress and shear forces. Its dimensions are based on structural requirements.
- Schöck provides additional thermal insulation elements supporting the thermal break in regions where fixtures cannot be placed.
Notes:
- All fixtures are available for fire resistance class F 90. Please note that a minimum slab thickness is required for types V and Q. When you select fire resistance class F 90 in the article catalog, only appropriate fixtures are presented for selection.
- To achieve a realistic representation of the building model, you can place the Schöck fixtures using predefined of freely-definable lengths. However, the fixtures are always ordered and supplied as entire elements that are not cut.
