Room finish, only calculate ceilings at slabs above

When Calculate ceilings only at slabs above is off (default setting), Allplan calculates finish ceiling surfaces based on the full extent of the room even when only parts of the slab are above the room. In addition, only openings created with Recess, Opening in Slab are subtracted.

If, however, the slab is only partially above the room or if openings were created in a different manner (using Reshape Surface Element, Architectural Area, for example), select the Calculate ceilings only at slabs above option to ensure that ceiling surfaces are calculated correctly based on the slab size.
