Defining parameters

Tool(s): Bar Shape + Mesh Shape

You can enter, select, calculate or match parameter values. Use the check boxes to define optional parameters.

Entry

You can see which boxes are pure data entry boxes: the column on the right does not include any additional icons.

Selection

Click to open a list box. Although you can enter any value for some parameters, selection of most parameters is limited to the values in the list box.
You can select values by entering a number between 0 and 9 or the first letter without having to open the list box. When, for example, the diameter is set to 10, entering 1 switches to a diameter of 12. When you enter 1 again, the diameter is set to 14.

Double-clicking the data entry box activates the next higher value of the list box.

Calculation

Click to open a dialog box where you can calculate the overlap or anchorage length by entering the relevant parameters.
You can also enter any value. When "?" is entered for the length, the value is determined from the segment entered.

Match

You can use the shortcut menu to cut out, copy, paste and delete selected values. These actions can also be undone using the shortcut menu.

Illegal values

Illegal values are highlighted red.
