Structure of palette

Tool(s): Bar Shape

By default, the Bar Shape palette consists of five sections. You can customize the sections in the middle.

Bending shape

You can select a bending shape in the list box at the top. Click to open a dialog box that displays all the bending shapes graphically in groups.

Graphics

The currently selected bar bending shape is displayed in the graphics area. You can define the geometric parameters by clicking them in the graphics area. The parameter area updates immediately to reflect your entries.

When you have selected the freeform shape, you can specify the type of the next segment or the bending type after you have entered the first segment. When you have selected torsion stirrup or straight bar with anchorage, Allplan provides several options for creating the overlap or anchorage. To do this, use the graphics or parameter area.

Parameters

You define general mark properties, which are the same for all bending shapes, and bending shape-specific parameters.

You can enter, select, calculate or match parameter values. Use the check boxes to define optional parameters.

Description

Additional information on the parameter to be defined is displayed.

Action bar

You can use the tools in this area to match the parameters of existing marks, load settings saved as favorites, save settings as favorites and open the options.
