Options, reinforcement, representation

Using the following parameters, you can define how reinforcing bars look in Plan in views of the Wireframe type. The program also uses these parameters when you print layouts.

Display on screen as a

Line, Double line, Fill: regardless of the selected display scale and reference scale, bars are displayed as a line or using their actual extents with or without fills.

Display cross-section as a

Use this to define how bar cross-sections are displayed on screen. The following options are available:

Choose Rectangle to display bar cross-sections as rectangular.

Choose Octagon to display bar cross-sections as octagonal.

Choose Circle to display bar cross-sections as round.

Bending pin

When this option is selected, standard bending radii are displayed as smooth; otherwise, they are displayed as angular. You can use the Modify Bar Display Mode tool to modify this later.

When you select a bending pin diameter that is not in accordance with the standard, the bending shape always appears smooth. You cannot change it to angular.
The bars' bending radii always appear circular in perspective views.

Print double line when scale is set to at least

If the reference scale is larger than the scale specified here, bars are displayed using their actual extents in layouts.
In document edit mode, bars are displayed in accordance with the option you have set for Display on screen as a.

Print fill when scale is set to at least

If the reference scale is larger than the scale specified here, fills are applied to bars in layouts.
In document edit mode, bars are displayed in accordance with the option you have set for Display on screen as a.
