Settings for printing in batch mode

Tool(s): Print Layouts
Printing several layouts using Windows drivers

Use the settings in the Printer, Format and Print profile areas to specify whether the current setting is used for all layouts or whether the output device, page format and/or print profile saved with the respective layout is used.

In addition, you can use the following options to control printing in batch mode.

Similar format

Layouts are printed even if the printable area specified for the Format - Current setting or the page format saved in the layout (with the Paper format - As in layout setting) is not available as a paper format to the output device.
First, the program attempts to find an identical paper format with a different name.
If this attempt fails, the program selects the next largest paper format. If the resulting larger printable area is within a specific tolerance range defined as a percentage in the Options and you have selected this option, the program uses this paper format.
Otherwise, a note is added to the print log or test log and the layout in question is not printed.

Check output

When this option is selected, the program checks the settings for problems during printing. Potential problems are written to a log file and can be solved in advance.
This prevents incomplete printing operations.

Number of copies

You can specify how many times you want to print each layout.
