Assigning drawing files to structural levels

There are two ways to assign drawing files to a structural level:

• Assign drawing files on the menu bar.
  You can select drawing files in the Assign drawing files dialog box and drag and drop the selected files into the tree view. The symbol represents drawing files that are already assigned to a structural level. You can see which drawing files are in use - they are marked with a corresponding symbol in the Type column. Positioning the cursor over a drawing file already assigned displays a ToolTip with information on the structural level to which this drawing file is assigned. You can use the shortcut menu to display the drawing file in the corresponding structural level. The structural level in question expands and the drawing file is highlighted in color. Furthermore, the shortcut menu provides additional options you can use to list all currently selected drawing files, all loaded drawing files and all assigned drawing files in a separate dialog box.
  You can sort the drawing files by type, number, name or size. Just click the relevant column head. Clicking again inverts the sort direction. The direction is indicated by an arrow.
• Assign drawing files... on the shortcut menu of a structural level.
  You can enter drawing file numbers as follows:
  • Enter the numbers of individual drawing files separated by blank spaces, e.g. 10 2 19.
  • Enter a range separated by hyphens, e.g. 10-19.

    You can also combine these two options (e.g. 10 12 14-19 21).

    Clicking Selection list opens the Assign drawing files dialog box, where you can assign drawing files as described above.
