Options, terrain

This where you can define how roof hatching is displayed in site plans.

To define roof hatching in accordance with the cardinal directions

  1. Click Options (How).
  2. Click Terrain in the area on the left.
  3. Using the North for roof hatching option in the Urban planning area, you can change the value and specify the tolerated angle of deviation.
    If north is at the top of your plan, enter 90 degrees.
    This angle controls how the shadows cast by the roofs are displayed.

Example:

North: 90
Northeast angle: 90
Northwest angle: 90

North: 90
Northeast angle: 89.5
Northwest angle: 90

North: 90
Northeast angle: 89.5
Northwest angle: 89.5
