unweighted
The image is compressed in a uniform manner.
weighted
The image is compressed using a weighted compression method. During the process the contrast in the file is increased.
Parameters
Source image resolution:
The resolution of the source image is displayed here.
Resolution of destination image:
Enter the Dpi value (resolution) of the destination image here. The compression factor is the product of (current image’s DPI value) / (destination image’s DPI value).
Saturation in %:
The saturation value defines a brightness saturation value above which a pixel is set in the destination image. For example, if the saturation value is set to 50%, a pixel is set in the destination image when at least 50% of pixels are set in the source image.
