Switching lights on and off

Tool(s): Set Light for Project

You can switch all artificial light sources on and off as you need, individually or together. If you want to display the model without any artificial lighting, you can switch off all the light sources you defined for the project.

To switch individual lights on and off

1. Click Set Light for Project (How).
   

   Activate Set Light for Project in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Change Presentation Animation

   • Toolbar: Change
   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Animation

   • Shortcut menu: Navigation Mode selected - Right mouse button

   The Light palette opens.

2. Click the light source.

   The Light palette opens.

3. In the Edit area, select or clear the Light status check box.
4. Click OK to confirm.
5. Switch another light source on or off.

   Or:

   Press ESC to quit the tool.

To switch all lights of the project on and off

1. Click Set Light for Project (How).

   The Light palette opens.

2. In the Light area, click the On or Off button beside All lights.
3. Press ESC to quit the tool.
