Point snap methods

Perpendicular
 snaps to the base of a perpendicular on an element by dropping a perpendicular from a point onto the element or the extension of the element. The element can be a line, polyline, splines, circle, ellipse, etc.

To snap to the base of a perpendicular

1. After activating a design tool, click Base of a perpendicular on the shortcut menu.
2. Click the element on which the base of the perpendicular is to be found.
3. Specify the point from which the perpendicular is to be dropped onto the element.
