Angle bisector between 2D lines

Tool(s): Angle Bisector

You can use the Angle Bisector tool to draw an angle bisector between two 2D lines. The lines can already exist, or you can define them by specifying their start and endpoints. The starting point of the angle bisector is the (virtual) point where the two lines forming the angle meet. The direction of the angle bisector can stretch in all four of the areas formed by the intersecting lines.

Tip: Allplan creates a center line for parallel lines.

To draw an angle bisector

  1. Click Angle Bisector (How).
  2. Click a line or specify the direction by clicking two points.
  3. Enter the second line.
  4. Enter the length of the angle bisector in one of the following ways:
  5. If you defined the length of the angle bisector by entering it in the dialog line:
Specify the area in which the angle bisector is to be created.
