Entering American units (foot/inch)

To enter American units

1. In the Options - Desktop environment - General area, set the unit of length to foot and the precision to 1/16, for example.
2. Enter a length of 3 feet 5 1/4 inch as follows:

   3.5.1.4

   In words: 3[point]5[point]1[point]4
