Copying measurement results to Clipboard

Values that you measure with the measure tool can be copied to the Clipboard and then pasted into other Windows applications using CTRL + V.

To copy values to the Clipboard

1. Click Measure (How).
   

   Activate Measure in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Tools

   • Keyboard: Ctrl+Alt+M

   • Toolbar: Standard
2. Measure an element (a line, for example).
3. In the dialog box, click and then the value you want to copy to the Clipboard.
4. Switch to the application into which you want to insert the value and paste it using CTRL + V.
