Using Pen Thickness

The Format QuickSelect toolbar presents 4 settings for pen thickness, line type and color for quick access. You can configure what is presented here. This description shows how to configure which pens are presented. To configure which line types or colors are presented, proceed accordingly.

To define which pens are presented on the QuickSelect toolbar.

1. On the Tools menu, click Defaults.
2. In the Defaults dialog box, click Pen & Format QuickSelect.

   The warning You are modifying the pen thickness in the office path indicates that changing the pen assignment will affect the office standard.

3. In the Pens for QuickSelect format area, specify which of the 15 pens are to be presented on the Format QuickSelect toolbar.

   After selecting a pen, the system rearranges the order in which they appear so that they are sorted by pen thickness.
