When you select this option, the best possible resolution is used to display and print bitmaps.

Complex bitmaps may slow down the performance of your computer. To accelerate the processes of editing and printing high-resolution bitmaps that require a lot of disk space, the Bitmap areas of high quality option is not selected by default; the bitmaps appear somewhat coarser on screen and in printouts.

Note: When it comes to printing bitmap areas, the Bitmap areas of high quality option only has an effect if you are using Allplan raster drivers. Windows drivers always print bitmap areas of the best quality.

Note: The Bitmap areas of high quality option does not change the bitmap file itself.
