Mode for lines parallel to ellipses

In the Input Options you can specify how lines parallel to ellipses are created.

Ellipse mode

Another ellipse is drawn to approximate a parallel line. The semi-axes are extended by the same factor. The ellipticity (the ratio between the semi-axes) remains constant.

(A) Reference ellipse

Radius mode

Another ellipse is drawn to approximate a parallel line. The semi-axes are extended by the same amount.

(B) Radius

Spline mode

A spline is drawn to approximate a parallel line. The points on the spline are positioned at the offset you specify from the ellipse.
