Assigning surface elements to specific rooms, surfaces or stories

Tool(s): Assign Surface Elements to Rooms, Surfaces, Stories

To apply surface elements to rooms, surfaces or stories

1. Click Assign Surface Elements to Rooms, Surfaces, Stories (How).
   

   Activate Assign Surface Elements to Rooms, Surfaces, Stories in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Architecture Rooms, Surfaces, Stories

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Rooms, Surfaces, Stories

   • Configuration: Architecture Rooms flyout
2. Click Make in the input options.
3. If you want, you can now change the selection criterion and the parameters of the graphic identifier.
   The context toolbar provides several options.
   

   • Click Properties to set the parameters in a dialog box.
   • Click Match Properties to copy the settings form an existing element.
   • Click Load favorite to select saved parameter combinations.
4. Click OK to confirm the dialog box.
5. Define the region with the elements you want to visualize.

   The selected elements are given surface elements in accordance with the selection criteria.
