DIN 277 attributes

Enclosure type

Enter the enclosure type here. The default is a (covered and enclosed at full height on all sides). Click Enclosure type... to select the enclosure type by clicking.

Occupancy type

Enter the occupancy type in accordance with DIN 277 2005-02. The default is UA (usable area). Click Occupancy type... to select the occupancy type in a table.

Usable areas (UA) can be defined more precisely by occupancy groups: 1 (Living and recreation), 2 (Office work), 3 (Production, manual and machine work, experiments), 4 (Storing, distributing and selling), 5 (Education, training and culture), 6 (Nursing) and 7 (Other usable areas).

DIN277 area type (for rooms)

You can specify the area type, which defines how a room is analyzed. The default is N (net floor area and net cubic content).
Click Area type... to select the area type in a dialog box.

DIN277 factor

This factor only affects DIN277 attributes.

Type of floor area

Enter the area type here. Click Area type... to select the area type in a dialog box providing further information on each area type.

QuickSelect area attributes

Click in the graphic to select the area attributes you want to use. The appropriate DIN 277 2005-02 settings are entered automatically in the DIN277 attributes area.
