Adjust – Adjust attribute text to scale

Text in Allplan usually has the same height, regardless of the selected reference scale. This is equivalent to drawing with templates on a drawing board. In other words, setting the reference scale from 1:100 to 1:50 enlarges the design entities. A 5mm text, however, always has this size whatever the scale.

You can use Adjust in the Input options to generate text that behaves like design entities. When the Adjust option is enabled while you are defining an attribute text, the text size and the height/width ratio adapts to the scale.

This is very useful when you want to combine text and design entities (for example, a box enclosing a text).

• When Adjust is enabled, text and design entity adapt to the current reference scale.
• When Adjust is disabled, the design entity adapts to the scale but the text does not change.
